Speaking Engagements
Craig Wagner is a public speaker, author, researcher, and activist helping people achieve mental health recovery using Integrative Mental Health.
He speaks regularly on the unrealized potential of integrative mental health and the many pragmatic non-drug options that are helping people reclaim their lives. He can be engaged for conferences, seminars and training events either as a keynote speaker or workshop leader.
Within the mainstream, Wagner has worked with major mental health organizations to broaden the acceptance of non-drug treatments. This includes summarizing the latest non-drug treatment research for both the Caucus on Complementary, Alternative and Integrative Medicine of the American Psychiatric Association, and affiliates of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Outside the mainstream, he has a grass-roots focus where he is a blogger (Mad in America, the Foundation for Excellence in Mental Health Care, and Onward Mental Health), a freelance alternative mental health editor, and consultant.
Craig has been a featured Institute Leader and speaker for the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association; a speaker, trainer, and support group leader for affiliates of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and a workshop leader at multiple Paths to Recovery Conferences, (Michigan's largest mental health recovery event).
